It has to come to you, but you have to recognize it!

So, I made this blog three days ago and I have been wondering what to say ever since.  Just now, I realized it's a lot like making a character.  You can't force character creation.  I can't anyway.  That said, here's how I finally started this blog and got a cool character concept.  Yesterday, at around dusk, I set out for a walk.  I found myself noticing the gravity of rare moments, like dusk and dawn,  and now I'm thinking of...  An Assassin or a Bard maybe.   Someone who lives for the rare moments and, better yet, strives to make the moment Rare.

It started out like this:

Sometime during my first year at Texas State, either December 08 or January 09, I got my first look at tabletop gaming. I was hanging out with my suite mate Bobby and he handed me a spiral bound book. "Hey!" He said, "wanna beta-test a new RPG?" Tephra was the game and I was hooked instantly.

It's been over two years of steady gaming and I've decided a blog could be a fun way to get some ideas down and share some as well. Also, my DM started a blog a few days ago. Check it out at http://eldrim.blogspot.com/
